The TeaCup Inn Traverse City is a quaint (500sqft) completely remodeled cottage, 500 ft from Arbutus Lake. It's surrounded by summer cottage lake resorts! The cozy cottage includes two adult kayaks for your enjoyment. Stroll down the road, launch and enjoy a day on beautiful Arbutus Lake. Come home and grill dinner on the porch and s’mores by the bonfire!

The Teacup is a quick 15 minute drive to downtown TC and the beautiful Traverse Bays, 20 minutes to the GLEF.

If you love lake breezes, campfire smells, and the complete Up-North cottage resort feeling this is the place for you!

The Teacup Inn is a short 15 minute drive to downtown Traverse City, however located in an area of Traverse City known for some of the best hiking trails, inland fishing lakes, kayaking, motor boating, jet skiing, horseback riding and resorts galore!

The cottage was recently remodeled and provides one queen bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, living room with a full size futon and smart television, bath with shower and dressing area.

Space is ideal for 1-2 people, but can accommodate a third adult or two young children on the full size futon located in the living room.

There is a propane grill and two fire pits on the property for you to enjoy along with two adult kayaks.

Guests will enter their private cottage using a lock box.

Guest are allowed to drop their kayaks or canoes into the lakefront resort property, this is not deeded access so you can’t use the resorts facilities.
However, a few minute drive around the lake is a great park that includes fishing docks , bbq's , picnic tables and boat ramps to two all sports lakes. Not to mention you're only a 15 minute drive to boat launches,parks, and beaches galore on THE Grand Traverse Bays!

The area is located in an older summer cottage community in Traverse City! It is surrounded by a great bunch of inland lakes and provides the best up-north ambiance! Its just a short drive to downtown and so many other of Northern Michigan's treasures! Spend days at the Sleeping Bear Dunes, float the Platte River, visit Mackinac, or enjoy many of TC's Festivals with only a short drive to get you there!

You can Uber, Lyft or Taxi anywhere you want to go! These resort cottages were built in the 1950’s, they have small baths and are on older septic systems. Because of this the amount of guest has to be no more then four ( 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children). 

We have made this cottage so that it fits all your needs and you will want to come back!

The cottage is nestled on a half acre partially wooded lot. We do our best to keep insects, mice and other small pesky critters out of the cottage, but some may sneak in now and then. Guests accept that this is part of nature in Northern Michigan and will let me know immediately if they encounter problems that need attention so that I can quickly resolve them.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $150.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $150.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
